Navigating sexual health and wellness as an LBGTQ+ individual can be extremely challenging. Hear from members of the community as they share their personal journeys, resources, and advice on how to navigate sexual health as an LGBTQ+ individual.
MEET THE PANEL
Elijah Tay
Youth Activist and Founder of @QueersOfLH and @MyQueerStorySG
Elijah Tay (they/them) is a passionate youth activist who has been involved in advocacy work since they were in secondary school. At the age of 16, they founded initiatives like @QueersOfLH and @MyQueerStorySG to uplift the voices of the LGBTQ+ community in school and in Singapore respectively. They have also shared extensively in live discussions and podcasts, such as on New Naratif's Political Agenda, Sayoni's webinars, SPEQ:TRUM podcast and Lesbeheard's Instagram Live. They believe in the importance of creating safe spaces while moving society towards becoming a safe space for all.
Jamie Nonis
Independent Journalist and Host of The Jamie Nonis Show and SPEQ:TRUM
Jamie Nonis is an accomplished journalist published in many of Singapore’s top-tier luxury, lifestyle and business publications including Channel NewsAsia Luxury, Tatler Singaporeand The Edge Singapore over 20 years.
As the only trans masculine presenting journalist in their media niche and a double minority in their field, Jamie is passionate about using their voice and platforms to spotlight LGBTQ+ conversations to help elevate the community while engaging more mainstream audiences through their two podcast series: The Jamie Nonis Show and SPEQ:TRUM, which was created as a safe space for LGBTQIA+ voices, stories and dialogue.
Sherry Sherqueshaa
Transgender Woman Sex Worker, Sexual Health Adviser & Human Rights Defender
Miss Sherry Sherqueshaa has been speaking up for the community of transgender women and sex workers for the past seven years. As the Human Rights Defender at Project X (Singapore), she attends regional conferences and training, and with that, she was able to provide the community with resources and assistance while they are in the industry. Her passion for challenging stigma and ending violence in sex work reflects in countless media interviews, podcasts, and documentaries. Since 2018, Miss Sherqueshaa has been the board member representative for the Asia Pacific region at the Global Network of Sex Work Projects (NSWP). She aims to be an inspiration for allies, but importantly she hopes that people engaged in the sex trade are empowered to take charge of their sexual health, mental health, and fundamental human rights.

Rachael SE
Founder of Lesbeheard and Host of Instagram Live Talk Show, LesTalk
Understanding marginalisation being Queer and a Minority herself, she has taken to social media to provide a safe haven and a sense of community for fellow queer women. She goes for the heat and addresses issues and touches on areas that are often not socially discussed.She endeavours to create a voice for the Queer Women Community, through her social media platforms and aspires to normalise Sexual Wellness amongst women.
